<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding machine capable of inspecting a work with an X-ray without taking down the work from the welding machine by arranging an X-ray inspection device to the welding machine, continuously conducting the repair welding as necessary, and easily specifying a cause of the occurrence of a defect because an inspection is possible, immediately after welding, and a laser beam welding method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam welding machine has a rotary table 2 provided inside a shield chamber 1 and on which a work 3 is placed, an irradiation position adjusting device 4 for adjusting the irradiation position of a laser beam from a laser beam generating device 7 to a welding part 3a of the work 3 on the rotary table 2, a generating device 5 for irradiating a welding joint 3b after welding with the X-ray, a sensor 6 for receiving the X-ray permeated through the welding joint 3b and the laser beam generating device 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
