<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding apparatus capable of precisely detecting a positioning state and/or a welding state of butted and/or superposed plate materials with a simple and inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam welding apparatus 10 has a laser beam irradiating mechanism 14, a CCD camera unit 16 arranged on a laser beam irradiating side of butted plate materials W1 and W2 for detecting the positioning state and welding state of the plate materials W1 and W2, and a laser beam reflecting mechanism 18 arranged on the opposite side to the laser beam irradiating side of the plate materials W1 and W2 for reflecting a laser beam L permeated through the plate materials W1 and W2 and irradiating to the CCD camera unit 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
