PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly obtain an image within a photographing area by reducing an area where ultrasonic is shielded by a matter to be photographed in forming an ultrasonic image. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic image forming apparatus has the ultrasonic transmitting section 1606 outputting ultrasonic beam to a predetermined objective area, the ultrasonic receiving section 1601 receiving reflecting ultrasonic beam which is reflecting wave of the above ultrasonic beam obtained from the objective area, the image forming means 1603 forming an image based on the received reflecting ultrasonic beam and the ultrasonic output direction control means 1608 control alteration of an output direction of the ultrasonic beam relative to the objective area.
