PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound acting as an active ingredient of a controlling agent against noxious arthropoda. SOLUTION: There are provided the pyrazole compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R1is a 1-8C alkyl, or the like; R2is hydrogen, a (1-8C alkyl)carbonyl, or the like; X1and X2are each independently a 1-3C alkyl, or the like; and X3is a 1-3C alkyl); the controlling agent against noxious arthropoda having the compound as an active ingredient; and a method for controlling noxious arthropoda comprising applying the compound to noxious arthropoda or to their inhabiting places.
