PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for manufacturing simply and in a high yield an N,N-disubstituted amide compound, and particularly to provide a means for readily, safely and inexpensively converting an N,N-disubstituted thioamide compound into the N,N-disubstituted amide compound. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the N,N-disubstituted amide compound bearing a structure represented by formula [2] as the essential skeleton comprises reacting the N,N-disubstituted thioamide compound bearing a structure represented by formula [1] as the essential skeleton with hydrogen peroxide.
