PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding stone and a method for manufacturing the same, in which inert gas, lubricant, and cooling solvent or mist can be efficiently supplied to a grinding point by forming pores, or gaps, between lumps of grinding stones. SOLUTION: In the grinding stone used for dry or wet grinding, the lumps 6 of grinding stones having abrasive grains 2, pores 3, and binders 4 are formed. In addition, a plurality of the lamps 6 are bonded so as to give pores, or gaps 5, around the lamps 6 of grinding stones.
