PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preventive for effectively preventing vascular restenosis after coronaria intervention carried out to cure ischemic cardiopathy.

SOLUTION: The vascular restenosis preventive contains, as the effective component, a compound which deactivates an α-1 protease inhibitor or α-2 macroglobulin each of which has a causation of vascular restenosis after coronaria intervention. Preferably, the preventive is locally administered by applying an intravascular embedding stent coated with the preventive to a stenosis region.
