PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a connection part for a fuel tank which can be manufactured easily, can curtail the molding time, and can reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The connection part 18 for the fuel tank is composed of a connection part 20 made of a synthetic resin having gas-barrier properties, and a welding part 31 which is made of the synthetic resin of the synthetic resin layer 13 of the synthetic resin fuel tank 11 and head-welded to the outer surface of the connection part 20. When the connection part 18 for the fuel tank is produced, the synthetic resin is injected into the first cavity in a mold to mold the connection part 20. After at least the surface of the synthetic resin is solidified, a slide core in the mold is retracted to form the second cavity. Next, the synthetic resin is injected into the second cavity to form the welding part 31. Before the synthetic resin is solidified, the slide core is advanced to pressurize the synthetic resin.
