PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop and provide a lightweight tool for capturing harmful animals such as boar, capable of eliminating caution of harmful animals, being convenient for carrying and having an inexpensive production cost. SOLUTION: In the tool for capturing harmful animals, a support 1 is made to stand on the ground A and an engaging hook 3 is provided in the upper end of the support 1 and the center part of a capturing net 2 is inserted into the support 1 and positioned at a prescribed height from the ground and a plurality of first ropes 4, one ends of which are each engaged with an engaging piece 3a of the engaging hook, are installed and these ends of the first ropes 4 are engaged with the capturing net and a plurality of second ropes 6 are fixed from the peripheral end part of the capturing net to the ground, and ropes 8 and 8' are each provided from two directions in a loop shape so as to close the capturing net in a purse bag-form in the peripheral end of the capturing net and the top ends are fixed to the ground. When the harmful animal in the capturing net touches a wire 9 for detaching the engaging mechanism of the engaging hook 3, the engaging piece of the engaging hook is detached and these first ropes are detached and the capturing net is dropped to capture the harmful animal.
