PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow an interval between a dash panel and a front tire and to enlarge a space in a vehicle. SOLUTION: The accelerator pedal unit 10 is arranged to a compartment 14 side in a lower part of the dash panel 8 for partitioning into the compartment 14 and an engine room 16 of the automobile 12. A mounting bracket 26 is welded to a compartment inside surface 18A of the dash panel 18, and an accelerator pedal bracket 22 is clamped to the bracket 26 via upper and lower bolts 30. A threaded part 30A of the bolt 30 is clamped with threaded hole 36 formed at the bracket 22 through a mounting hole 34 formed at a piece 26C of the bracket 26, and the bolt 30 is arranged at an axial line 30B toward a substantially vehicle widthwise direction.
