PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To write food information in an ID tag built in a plate by quickly and reliably discriminating food placed on the plate. SOLUTION: An ID tag is built in a plate 4, and an ID number and the selling price of Sushi (vinegared small rice block with gradient thereon) are stored in the ID tag. When placing the Sushi on the plate 4, the plate 4 is placed on an installed reader writer 39. An image recognizing device 42 judges an image pattern photographed by a CCD camera 41 to be informed to a personal computer 40. The personal computer 40 reads the selling price of the Sushi from the ID tag when the image recognizing device 42 recognizes the plate on the basis of the recognized image pattern to compare a standard pattern of the Sushi corresponding to the selling price with the recognized image pattern to judge a topping ingredient of the Sushi to write judged topping information in the ID tag. |
