<p>PURPOSE:To produce an acidic gas absorbing material high in absorption capac ity of an acidic gas such as carbon dioxide, and low in decomposition of an anesthetic such as 'Sevofluran((R))' and enable the reduction of cost and a simplifying of a production stage by incorporating calcium hydroxide and water as effective components and excluding substantially a hydroxide of alkali metals. CONSTITUTION:This absorbent is composed of the calcium hydroxide and the water as effective components and containing substantially no hydroxide of the alkali metals. This adsorbent is a tablet type and its average hardness is 900-26000g. This adsorbent is high in absorption capacity of the acidic gas such as carbon dioxide, low in decomposition of an anesthetic such as 'Sevofluran((R))' and capable of reducing a cost and simplifying the production process because a mixing operation of materials is eliminated.</p> |
