PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry conveying method and a device using a jet pump by which pumping up of waste slurry is suplemented and the pressure of cutting face water can be stably retained and the increase of the treating slurry volume is prevented. SOLUTION: In this slurry conveying method using a jet pump, waste slurry discharged from a cutting face is pumped up from the inside of a shaft up to the ground level through a slurry discharge pipe 20 by a jet pump 22. The waste slurry delivered from the jet pump 22 is divided by a diversion machine 21 and the divided slurry is circulated to the jet pump through a bypass pipe 23 provided between the diversion machine 21 and the jet pump 22 and the circulated slurry is ejected into the slurry discharge pipe 20 by a jet pump 22 to accelerate the waste slurry discharged from the cutting face. |
