<p>Tubular structures are described which are composed of multiple layers of reinforced material. The structures include at least one terminal end portion which includes one or more wedges between adjacent layers of reinforced material. The structures may be, for example, hoses, expansion joints, or actuators (e.g., air springs). The terminal end portions can be readily clamped together to make appropriate connections, or a terminal end portion can be clamped to a desired mounting surface.</p> |
