ORAL FORMULATION OF PEPTIDE DRUG

PURPOSE: Provided are a proliposome of peptide drug and an oral formulation containing the proliposome. The oral formulation remarkably enhances bioavailability and stability of the peptide drug. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method comprises the steps of: dissolving a peptide drug and phospholipid in an organic solvent; coating the solution with water soluble chitosan to make proliposome; formulating the proliposome into pharmaceutically acceptable formulation; and coating the formulation with fatty acid or its salt to accelerate absorbance in the intestine.
