The insulating wall (1) comprises two opposite, parallel concrete panels (2,3) sandwiching an insulating panel (4). There are means (5,6,7) including a pin (7) for ensuring a mechanical connection between the concrete panels. The manufacturing method comprises pouring a first layer of concrete into a horizontal mold. Before placing the insulating panel inside the mold it is completed by an armature constituted by a metal trellis (20). After partial drying of the first concrete layer the assembly defining a first concrete panel is taken from the mold. This assembly is then returned to the mold containing a second layer of concrete intended to define the second concrete panel. After drying of the second concrete layer, the insulating wall is removed from the mold. Independent claims are included for an insulating wall and an installation for carrying out the procedure.
