PREPARATION METHOD OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE THIN FILM USING TITANIUM NAPHTHENATE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a titanium dioxide thin film by using titanium naphthenate is provided, to obtain a TiO2 thin film with a uniform thickness and an excellent adhesive strength simply and conveniently by using simple sol-gel method and employing a material stable in atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing titanium naphthenate with toluene to prepare a coating solution by a sol-gel method; coating a washed substrate with the coating solution; and heating the coated substrate. Preferably the heating is carried out at a temperature of 500-600 deg.C for 30-60 min. Preferably the coating and heating processes are repeated for several times.
