BELL FOR A SLIDING DISC BRAKE

A bell (2) for a sliding disc brake (1), is adapted to be fixed to a wheel hub of a vehicle and co/operates with a braking band (3) having opposed braking surfaces (7). The braking band comprising means for sliding coupling to the bell, said bell comprising externally a plurality of projections (4) extending parallel to said axis of rotation (X-X) defining sliding surfaces (12) for the braking band. Said bell comprises on a surface (22) thereof facing towards the braking band a plurality of recesses (23) and that said recesses partially and removably receive inserts constituting, with their portion emerging from the recesses, said plurality of projections defining the sliding surfaces for the braking band.
