METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING LEASED LINE DATA AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting/receiving leased line data is provided to transparently pack the leased line data in a frame payload using a DSL(Digital Subscriber Loop) modem, thereby simplifying a circuit of transmitting the leased line data through the DSL modem. CONSTITUTION: T1 or E1 leased line data is stored in an FIFO(610). A DSL frame generator receives the leased line data from the FIFO(620). A frame packer confirms whether the FIFO is empty(630). If so, an idle pattern inserter of the frame packer inserts an idle pattern into a DSL frame, and the idle pattern inverts final valid data packed in the DSL frame(640). If the FIFO is not empty, the frame packer brings the leased line data from the FIFO, and carries out frame packing(650). Size of the leased line data packed in a payload is inserted into a size field of the leased line data, and frame generation is completed(660). The completed DSL frame is transmitted to a DSL modem(670).
