<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source device capable of preventing a light guide plate and a light control member in a frame from separating by vibration and impact during transportation and the like, and capable of surface illumination of high quality. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate and the light control member 5 are stored in the frame 6 so that the light control member 5 is positioned on the light emitting surface side of the light guide plate. A tongue piece 20 formed at one rim part of the light control member 5 is supported by the tongue piece supporting part 21 of the frame 6. The movement of the tongue piece 20 supported by the tongue piece supporting part 21 is restricted by a plate-like tongue piece fastener 25. This tongue piece fastener 25 is detachably held by the frame 6 by inserting it in a tongue piece fastener engagement part 24 formed in the frame 6, and restoring a stopper 30 to its original position, after elastically deforming the stopper 30 formed on the frame 6 in an elastically deformable manner until it reaches a retreat position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
