<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To individually set a configuration space in each division group at driving for node division of a multi-mode computer system. <P>SOLUTION: This computer system contains a plurality of nodes 10, a node coupling device 100 and a supervisor processor 150. A division information register 350 which records a division group to which each node belongs in an inter-node configuration access routing controller 120 in a node coupling device 100 routing an access request of a configuration register in a PCI bus between the nodes 10 at the time of divisional operation of node groups, and a switch which multiplexes the path for routing the configuration access request between the nodes 10 in accordance with the set state of the division information register 350 are installed.
