PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen lamp, comprising a pair of lead members, a filament jointed to the pair of lead members, and a glass bulb airtightly enclosing at least one part of the pair of lead members and the filament, hardly generating flicker phenomenon caused by the abnormal contact of the filament and the pair of lead members, and to provide a manufacturing method of the halogen lamp with few apprehension of changing attitude and external shape which are temporarily fixed by a jig supporting the lead members, during the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A supporting member 10 made of non-conductive material jointing and fixing leg parts of the pair of lead members 3a, 3b is arranged in the glass bulb 1, and the lead members 3a, 3b and the filament 2 are welded by plasma welding.
