A lead-in device (46) with a hopper-shaped cross-section is provided for the filter belt (20). The device extends between the filter belt storage roll (24) and the belt guide (18) for making the belt follow a concave path. The lead-in device exit (52) is oriented substantially in the running direction of the belt. The concave path of the filter belt defines a filter trough (28) bordered at both ends by filter casing walls (16).
