PURPOSE: An airbag housing for a vehicle is provided to reduce the cost of production by making a second housing from steel, and to easily exchange an airbag module by detachably coupling a first housing with the second housing. CONSTITUTION: An airbag housing for a vehicle is composed of a first housing(31) made of magnesium, and a second housing(32) made of steel. The first housing is integrated with a crash pad core(1), and guides an airbag(2) when the airbag is inflated. An inflator(3) is mounted on the front of the second housing. A mounting bracket(34) has a slant face(35), and is protruded from the second housing. The front opened part of the second housing is detachably coupled with the rear opened part of the first housing by a coupling member(33). |
