POSITION SENSOR OF EPS BRUSHLESS MOTOR AND BRUSHLESS MOTOR USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A position sensor of an EPS brushless motor and a brushless motor using the same are provided to simplify a structure of a controller and reduce a manufacturing cost by removing an element of an absolute angle and changing a signal system of a relative element to generate an absolute angle signal. CONSTITUTION: A brushless motor includes a position sensor(100) and a controller(200). The position sensor is used for generating four hall signals of different phases according to an interval of a predetermined angle by a 22-pole magnet and four hall sensors. The controller is used for generating binary signals of 4bits and rotating a motor(300) by four hall signals of different phases according to an interval of the predetermined angle generated from the position sensor. The brushless motor is characterized in that the predetermined angle is 7.5°. The predetermined angle is changed by the number of magnetic poles.
