PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery holder with a simple structure which can be easily mounted on a device main body, securely hold batteries, and with which it is easy to replace batteries. SOLUTION: The battery holder 5, mounted on a device main body 7 pinching the batteries 1 in free attachment and detachment with its both side parts 5b, 5c bent toward one side of its bottom part 5a, is provided with fixing claws 5m fitted at both sides of the bottom part 5a and fixed to a fixing part 7b of the device main body 7, an extruding plate 5k set in a tongue shape at the bottom part 5a with its base part connected to a connecting part 5b' of one side part 5b with the bottom part 5a and its tip part as a free end enabled to erect itself for pushing out the batteries 1 in correspondence with opening of the side parts 5b, operating parts 5f, 5g fitted at an opening edge part of the both side parts 5b, 5c for opening them, and a pressing plate 5j fitted at both ends of the side parts for locking the both ends of the batteries 1.
