PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a linear motor having no waste of a laminated coil in terms of components and electric power. SOLUTION: When laminating corrugated single sheets 2 to be connected in series so as to make a coil 20 mounted on a stator and a slider of a linear motor, the corrugated single sheets 2 are alternately reversed and overlaid. Moreover, an even the number of corrugated single sheets 2 are incorporated 1 in a coil 20. By so doing, even if the coil 20 for a linear motor is made by laminating the corrugated single sheets 2, serial connection is materialized without extending respective receiving ends and employing a conductor. In addition, waste of electric power is prevented. Moreover, a couple of receiving ends 2a and 2b on the outermost side set as a connection object of an electric supply line become identical to either of both ends of the coil 20, which leads to easy wiring.
