PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable restoration of an exact reception signal by detecting a sampling error in an OFDM transmission system adopting a segment type. SOLUTION: The method for detecting the sampling error for the OFDM comprises the steps of multiplying a control signal (AC1 signal or the like) of (symbol number, carrier number)=(u, k) by the complex conjugate of the control signal of (u-1, k) by a first multiplifier 212, multiplying the control signal of (u, k-d) by the complex conjugate of the control signal of (u-1, k-d) by the first multiplier 212, multiplying the complex conjugate the former of the multiplied result by the value of the latter result by a second multiplier 214, extracting the phase componentΨfrom the multiplied result in a phase calculator 215. Further, calculatingψ=Ψ-π×round (Ψ/π) (round stands for the operation of rounding off) for the componentΨto remove the random component (πcomponent), and detecting the sampling error component.
