PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron tube capable of improving uniformity of luminance by equalizing the distribution of an antimony film without limiting a structure. SOLUTION: In depositing the antimony film on a photoelectric surface 4, a movable electrode 13 is positioned on the center side of a fixed electrode 11. An evaporation source 14 in the circumference of the movable electrode 13 stops positioning itself on a center axis of a converging electrode 7 forming the curvature center of the photoelectric surface 4. Antimony 16 is evaporated by heating a heating source 15 to deposit the antimony film on the photoelectric surface 4. When the deposition of the antimony film on the photoelectric surface 4 is finished, the movable electrode 13 is formed into a circular ring-like shape along with the fixed electrode 11. The movable electrode 13 is locked when formed into the circular ring-like shape along with the fixed electrode 11, and has a function as the converging electrode 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
