PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure positioning for fixing the relative position between a selected disk and a transport means in a disk drive which allows a user to select any one of disks from a plurality of disks with a simple structure. SOLUTION: When a first moving member 6 moves and a disk transport means moves in a direction separating from a disk, a rack gear 16 on the first moving member 6 turns a rotating body turns to turn the attitude switching protrusion 66. The turning operates a locking member 35 so that the locking member 35 fits to a two-step gear 45, thereby locking the two-step gear 45. A ring-shaped gear 44 with which the two-step gear 45 engages is also locked. Accordingly, a selection means including the ring-shaped gear 44 is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
