PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform an operation for manually unloading a disk tray. SOLUTION: A disk device 1 is provided with an opening portion 40b located at the left side 40a of a chassis 40 and used for manually operating a loading mechanism 50. A slide cam 51 has a rack 51b engaging with a gear 63 for driving the disk tray. Sliding the slide cam 51 in the right direction (X<SB>2</SB>direction) with pressing force F2 by inserting a tool or the like formed in a wide- width plate shape from the opening portion 40b at the left side 40a releases locking to the disk tray to allow the disk tray to move by a prescribed distance in the injection direction (Y2 direction).
