PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately perform the changing work of device configuration in a storage device such as a large-scale and complicated disk array device. SOLUTION: On the operation screen of the management terminal of a disk array device, a display period setting panel 101 for setting the display period of performance, a configuration display panel 102 indicating the configuration of the whole device, and a performance display panel 105 are simultaneously displayed, and the performance of the disk array device is displayed by a list table 103 and a graph 104 of the performance display panel 105 where the performance value of each logical volume is listed. When a user decides the target period of performance data measurement to be referred to by using the display period setting panel 101, the performance values displayed on the list table 103 and the graph 104 are updated while being interlocked with the set period. On the parameter setting screen, the predicted effects set on the screen are visually displayed on the performance display panel 105 or the like so that the user can predict the effects of the set contents.
