<p>Apparatus for varying the temperature of a container (16) for food or drinks is described which comprises a holder (14) for the container (16), an electrical heater or cooler (34), and a switch (36), in which engagement of the container (16) with the holder (14) activates the switch (36). The apparatus may also include a base unit (12) which connects to the holder (14). The apparatus is preferably operated by an external power source, in combination with an internal battery (25).</p> |
