The pedal crank has a core (40) of carbon fiber located between a first and second connecting component (20,30) which are carbon fiber coated. The core together with the first and second connecting components are coated with carbon fiber through which a casing (60) is created. The core on one end forms a claw which is also enclosed by the casing. The first connecting component is provided a with an annular bead on the circumference.
