<p>The invention relates to a fitting that can be connected to a pipe. Said fitting contains a sleeve (2), in which a body (14) can be axially displaced along a sleeve axis (12), whereby the body (14) has a drill (16) for drillin g into the pipe and/or a valve body (42) of a valve. The fitting also contains a branch sleeve (24), located in particular on said sleeve (2) and to which a branch line can be connected. The aim of the invention is to improve the fitting without involving a complex construction, in such a way that the safety requirements are reliably met and that a connection to a branch line can be easily established if necessary. According to the invention, a lockin g device (28) comprising an actuating element (32) is located in the branch sleeve (24), in such a way that the locking device (28) is actuated by means of the axially displaceable body (14) in the sleeve (2).</p> |
