METHOD OF REPRODUCING INTERACTIVE OPTICAL DISK UTILIZING COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reproducing and outputting A/V data recorded on a disk by receiving and utilizing provision of newest contents information as well as various contents information associated with the A/V data from a remote server through a communication network before reproduction of the A/V data on an optical disk such as an interactive DVD.

SOLUTION: This invention relates to the interactive optical disk reproducing method using a network. The present method downloads various content-related information associated with A/V data of an optical disk such as an interactive DVD from content-providing server connected through the Internet and stores the data in itself, and makes presentation of the A/D data and the new contents information received from the server while synchronizing the presentation time of the A/V data and the contents by utilizing the stored information read and reproduced from the interactive optical disk so as to double enjoyment of viewing a moving video image recorded on the disk.
