<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watermark embedding and detecting system for optimizing 'strength' for embedding an electronic watermark, suppressing deterioration in image quality, and making the embedding work efficient. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic watermark detection section detects in embedded electronic watermark from moving picture data to which the electronic watermark is embedded by an electronic watermark embedding section and obtained through signal processing such as data conversion, and an embedding strength decision section decides the embedding strength for changing a parameter of the electronic watermark embedding section to embed the electronic watermark to succeeding input moving picture data on the basis of the result of detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
