PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite broadcast receiving set capable of informing users about weather information such as outdoor temperature, humidity, and air pressure and reflecting weather information detected from each satellite tuner installed at each location on meteorological services such as weather forecast. SOLUTION: An antenna 1 installed outdoor is provided with a sensor unit 5. Further, the satellite broadcast tuner 2 calculates weather information on the basis of a sensor signal from the sensor unit 5, displays the weather information onto a television receiver and transmits the weather information to a weather information service provider 7 via a public line 6. The weather information service provider 7 analyzes the weather information from each satellite broadcast tuner 2 installed at each home to generate the weather information of each district and feeds back the generated weather information to each home by means of satellite broadcasting.
