APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING BRAIN WAVES

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring brain waves are provided to remove the brain waves including a physiological artifact by obtaining a relative result about a ground state of a testee. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring brain waves includes a brain wave detection portion(10), a brain wave amplification portion(20), an A/D conversion portion(30), a brain wave processing portion(40), and a display portion(50). The brain wave detection portion detects brain wave data. The brain wave amplification portion amplifies the brain wave data which are measured by the brain wave detection portion. The A/D conversion portion converts the amplified brain wave data to digital brain wave data. The brain wave processing portion decides a state of a physiological artifact from a ground state of a testee by using the digital brain wave data. The display portion displays a result of the brain wave processing portion.
