FRICTION LOSS REDUCTION STRUCTURE OF SCROLL COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: Friction loss reduction structure of a scroll compressor is provided to minimize friction loss between a rotary scroll engaging with a fixed scroll and an upper frame supporting the rotary scroll. CONSTITUTION: Friction loss reduction structure of a scroll compressor has a thrust bearing face(8b) of a rotary scroll(8) receiving the driving force of an electromotive mechanism unit and rotating while engaging with a fixed scroll; a thrust bearing face(2b) of an upper frame(2) on which the thrust bearing face of the rotary scroll is supported; and a friction reduction unit(N) forming plural stepped grooves on the thrust bearing face of the upper frame in the circumferential direction. The friction reduction unit is formed on the thrust bearing face of the rotary scroll. Thus, input power is reduced and gas compression performance is improved.
