<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load of a server computer, and to make a printing device which receives an electronic mail including an attached file from the server computer surely print the attached file. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of receiving an electronic mail including an attached file from an MFP 10A, a server computer 20B temporarily transmits the electronic mail to an MPF 10B as it is in response to an inquiry. The MFP 10B prints the attached file of the received electronic mail as it is when the attached file is in a format printable by its own equipment, and in the other case, the MFP 10B transmits a request for the transformation of the attached file into a proper format, and the return of the attached file to the server computer 20B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
