<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take in uplink multiplex optical signal free from interference from sub-stations at each antenna base station, without using a high accuracy reference signal source in the antenna base station. <P>SOLUTION: A center station 1 distributes an output of an optical comb signal station 2 to antenna base stations 4 which generate radio frequency comb signals. Uplink signals received by the sub-stations are mixed with the radio frequency comb signals to convert their frequencies, a band pass filter 11 provided in each antenna base station extracts a specified frequency band signal with which an optical source 12 in the antenna station 4 is modulated, and an optical source output is transmitted to the center station 1 over an optical fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
