<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily configure a small-sized two-stage type circulator, the rotating direction of each circulator of which can be selected the same resulting in facilitating the manufacturing, attaining excellent mass-productivity and providing an excellent propagation characteristic of a high frequency signal. <P>SOLUTION: In the small-sized two-stage type circulator comprising two circulators connected to each other via a connection dielectric waveguide 4e; each circulator being configured such that a tip of mode suppressors (1a to 1d), to which a dielectric waveguide (4a to 4d) is connected, is connected to two ferrite disks 2a (2d) placed opposite to each other concentrically between parallel flat conductors placed at an interval of a half of the wavelength of a high frequency signal; the circulators being arranged nearly radially, a couple of magnets are installed at an outer faces of the parallel flat conductors in a way that the ferrite disks 2a, 2b exist in a region where lines of magnetic force are almost perpendicularly to the inner faces of the parallel flat conductors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
