<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the property of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode 2, a negative electrode 3 and an electrolyte are enclosed in a battery can 5 together, and one or a plurality of kinds of metal elements and/or metal ions among Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sn, Cr, V, Ti, Fe, Ag, Pb, Nb, Zr, W, Pt, Au, and Si are included in the electrolyte.
