PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular communication system and a communication device capable of expanding use of information usable for inter-road vehicle communication over a wide range while securing security. SOLUTION: This communication device 1 is equipped in a vehicle, and receives information from the outside of the vehicle by the inter-road vehicle communication, and stores the information including secret information in a storage part 102. The secret information is stored by being associated with authentication information such as individual ID for specifying a user of the information. The communication device 1 has a communication part 105 for communicating with an external information output device 2, and receives an information transmitting request and the authentication information from the information output device 2, and transmits the information including no secret information to the information output device 2 when the authentication information does not coincide, and transmits the information including the secret information coincident with the authentication information to the information output device 2 when the authentication information coincides. While protecting the secret information by authenticating a user capable of using the secret information, the information received by the inter-road vehicle communication can be used by being taken outside the communication device 1.
