PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker, capable of surely placing a cooking device such as a pot in a designated position on a top plate so that anyone can perform desired cooking at a suitable heating temperature in a short time without moving. SOLUTION: This heat cooker has a cooker body 1 having built-in heating element 11 and control part 13 for electrically controlling the output of the heating element 11 and a top plate 3 at the top. The cooker is provided with a guide body 20 supported on the cooker body 1 and freely abutting on the top plate 3, and the guide body 20 is provided with a temperature sensor for detecting the surface temperature of the top plate 3.
