PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide defective pixel deciding method and device capable of appropriately deciding such a pixel which does not output a normal pixel signal, can not be made to be a value close to a normal pixel signal even though correction processing is applied to the pixel signal as a defective pixel in the defective pixel deciding method and device for deciding a defective pixel on the basis of a pixel signal of each pixel outputted from a radiation solid state detector, etc. SOLUTION: A plurality of pixel signals are acquired in each pixel by recording image information for defective pixel detection by means of irradiation to the radiation solid state detector 10 and reading pixel signals corresponding to the image information for defective pixel detection with respect of each of a plurality of recording lights of different energy, and whether to be a defective pixel is decided on the basis of the plurality of pixel signals in each pixel.
