PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration for detecting the position of a disk tray. SOLUTION: In a disk device 1, a horizontal surface 52 of a slide cam 51 described below is slidably mounted on a disk tray supporting surface 44. A detection switch 86 is installed on an extended line (X1 direction) being the slide range of a vertical surface 53 of a slide cam 51. The detection switch 86 is provided to allow changeover, from off to on, by pressing the detection switch 86 against an end 53a of the vertical surface 53. A control circuit discriminates the operation state of the disk tray 70 from a change (on, off) in a signal outputted from the detection switch 86. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
