摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt correction mechanism for mechanically correcting a tilt of an optical axis of an optical pickup with high reliability so that the optical axis of a beam emitted from the optical pickup is perpendicular to a disk recording face. SOLUTION: The tilt correction mechanism for an optical disk apparatus provided with: an optical pickup 3 for emitting laser beam to record/reproduce information to/from an optical disk; a drive mechanism for moving the optical pickup in a radial direction of the optical disk; a detection means for detecting a tilt amount of the optical disk; and a tilt adjustment means for tilting the optical pickup depending on the tilt amount, has a main guide structure 5 at a driver side for deciding a moving direction of the optical pickup and a follower side sub guide 4 for deciding the attitude of the optical pickup. The main guide structure and the sub guide are engaged with each other by a slidable connecting member 6, and by relatively moving the connecting member 6 to a main chassis 1, the main guide structure and the sub guide can be radially synchronously tilted with each other with respect to an optical disk face.
