PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane marker capable of being embedded so that a magnet easily turns in the required direction. SOLUTION: A columnar magnet 3 has a vessel 2 of a sphere having a spherical hollow part, and an inside vessel 6 of the sphere housed in the hollow part, and is housed in the inside vessel 6, and has the magnet 3 having a magnetic pole surface 3a in either one of two planes for constituting a columnar shape, ballast 4 arranged on a surface 3b on the opposite side of the magnetic pole surface 3a, and a lubricant filled in a boundary 7 between the vessel 2 and the inside vessel 6. The inside vessel 6 is rotatably supported in the vessel 2 so that the prescribed magnetic pole surface 3a of the magnet 3 turns in the specific direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
